outside time

Since the weather has been so nice out here lately, the kids have been outside lots AND that = a happy mom!
 Football with friends
skateboarding in January with short selves
 Ripstick
Helping me clean the car wearing ear muffs while I vacuumed.
Last Saturday I tried to do a stay home day but we ended up getting doughnuts back home and worked on scout things and I played dolls with Kendall while the boys played Mindcraft. Then we had lunch at Camachos and back home where I cleaned the car and the boys skated out front and played catch.
Later I made a scavenger hunt that lead to the kitchen where I made custom banana splits.
The kids choose how they wanted their dessert - I forgot to put sprinkles on the list but that was a choice also.
Deon and I opened a botle of Chocolate Red wine and it was devine with Hershey's Dark Chocolate Chips!
Earlier in the week I organized Kendall's room here is a glimpse of it:
I freed up wall space by putting her doll closet in the bookshelf and putting her dsi, doodle bear markers, bookmarks etc. in the white basket next to the books.
combined the toys in the bins on the shelf and brought up this table for drawing, kitchen play and storing Holly the Hamster on instead of the floor. In her closet is a treasure chest that holds all her stuffed animals.  That is her room in a nut shell AND since we had a little spat about being rude to your mom(me) and getting toys put in timeout-Her room has stayed picked up! She plays and cleans up afterwards!

Deon made a shelf for the garage to store helmets, roller blades, balls, etc on and Devin got excited to help and they made a fold down table to work on together.
Devin loved sanding the top for the new workbench!

Love Notes

A fews weeks ago I wrote a few love notes to my hubby that included a few of his favorite things:
Post it note in his ground coffee
 Morning breakfast-eggs
Candy heart note: Deon luv you, Your too hot!  I am wild 4 you, please kiss me.
Kendall made a candy heart letter to dad and me after I made this

Christmas in Kansas

Christmas at the Werth house
 Me and Santa
 Grandma with Santa
Kendall with Santa, the kids asked him tons of questions. One was what are your favorite cookies? He said chocolate chip-Kendall ran to the kitchen and grabbed 2 chocolate chip cookies for santa.  Before her turn she was worried about him asking her if she was good...she didn't want to lie but she also wanted to get presents. Good thing the cookies distracted Santa because he forgot to ask her if she was good!
I love his smile-He kept asking Santa what his real name was-
Of course it is Santa Klaus!
Let me check out your beard Santa..hmm!
Even Dixie got to see Santa
 The crew
Christmas at the Leikam house
We played Apples to Apples at both houses and had good dinners at both also!
Saturday we escaped for adult time with Sharon and Aaron at Gutchs for dinner and Gillas for drinks, we stayed with Sharon while we were home and I had fun spending time with her!
