Just to reflect on the last week and a half:

1. I have been at school for 2 weeks now. I am enjoying student teaching, my teacher is great, and the class (students) are so cute!! I am in a second grade classroom at the same school the boys go to.

I love seeing them around school. I have been able to see them both out on the playground, at lunch and in the hall once in a while.

FIVE for Sunday

To my KING from Kendall!

A little late this week.
1. I started this week helping my cooperative teacher. We set up the classroom, I met the other teachers, attended meetings, and I think I am ready for school to start on Wednesday.
2. We had a cat visit us early last week. A beautiful, tame, and loving cat was hanging out on our deck. We fed it leftovers, milk, tuna, chicken and beef. After a few days I called the vet clinic to see if they received any missing cat calls-we got a number for a family. However it was not their cat. I felt terrible, the children were so sad it was not their cat :( The next morning it was gone and I have not seen it in 4 days. I was planning on adopting that cat. My next step was to get food and make the kids feed it then introduce it to the house(kinda scared to have a cat in my house with claws and leather couches). i know nothing about cats.
3. Kendall has been calling Deon her KING instead of DAD. I think he gets a kick out of that.
4. The boys and Deon are getting more into karate. Andon said he LOVED Karate Kid with a BIG GRIN on his face (priceless). We just finished watching all 3 movies Friday night.
5. I walked down stairs the other night to see the kids playing Karate. Devin was the teacher while Andon and Kendall were warming up before starting "Karate". Then Deon joined in the class too. After that Kendall began teaching me gymnastics. It was a fun evening.

Summer is....

We packed a picnic lunch...however when it was time to eat we heard crackling thunder(no big storm clouds). We had to move to the van to eat our lunch.

WOW--today was the first day of "work". My cooperative teacher is GREAT. We have a lot in common, she is very helpful, and fun to be around. I am so glad we are paired up together. First off I had to get the kids all ready and myself ready for the day. The kids went to Ms. Camhi's house for the day, while I spent my day at a meeting ALL day long. School does not start until Wednesday, ready or not I will have to get everyone ready and out the door by 7:00--WHOA! I am not a morning person, I have to drag myself out of bed to workout at 5:15 add a full day of work and kids to that mix and I will be EXHAUSTED!

I better go...I have a hair cut appt. at 8 pm still tonight.

Before the mess...

I took Devin to Wal-mart today---he is soo like his dad, we got his school supplies first. He was ready to go right after. Me, I still had a list of groceries to get. I managed to keep him busy by helping me, he did good. Andon and Kendall enjoy looking around at everything. Andon and I were in the toy isle FOREVER just looking and deciding what he should pick out for him and Devin.
Today Kendall corrected the leap frog fridge farm magnets...it said "an orange horse" she says "no it's not" I said "NO? what color is it then?" "It's brown" I thought that was too cute and so Kendall.
I also bought the Karate Kid Trilogy! I am making a pizza and going to watch the movie tonight with the boys...I am putting Kendall to bed early!!

FIVE for FRIDAY

Yeah today is Friday!
1. I am DONE with daycare/childcare! Mixed feelings about it...when I was doing daycare, I wished I was doing something else. Now that I have been closing out my daycare room, selling old toys and equipment, I am kinda missing it. We well see where I am at in Jan. after graduating this Dec. I might be doing daycare again? Who knows where life will take us...enjoy EVERYDAY!
2. Over the weekend we went to Horsetooth park with our cousins. They kids had a blast in the water fountains...they discovered if they got wet, then slid down the slide, they went SUPER FAST!
3. On our wedding Anniversary, we went to Ben and Jerry's for ice cream and sat in old town enjoying life together after 9 years, 3 kids later and looking forward to the future together.
4. We made rainbow cookies!
5. Sunday I took Andon to Wal-mart to get some school supplies. We went to the New Wal-mart. He was so impressed! It was cute to hear my 5 year old talk about how much bigger the building was, longer it was and how nice it looked!! He helped pick out groceries too! We had a great "date" together. This weekend is Devin's turn.
We are off to return Deon's boots, and not sure what the rest of the day will have in store for us?

Our Wedding Anniversary

Today my husband and I celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary! Just like all marriages, we have had our ups and downs. We are at a very strong place in our relationship right now and I would not change a thing. Everything we have been through has only made us stronger together.
My most memorable moment of our wedding day was when we were taking pictures. The girls all meet at the park first and did our pictures, then I hide behind the bushes while Deon came walking towards me with tears running down his cheeks.

It was a great day and next year will hopefully be another great wedding day. I want to renew vows next year and my goal is to fit into my dress!
