A Magic Birthday

January 2
Happy 8th Birthday to my wonderful middle child!
I love you more and more EVERYDAY!
You amaze me with your magic, kindness and passion for life and... hockey!
I hope ALL your Dreams come true Birthday Boy.
Pizza and silliness before the magic starts. The birthday party boys!
Loran the magician! We met Loran at Nordy's every Sunday Andon wanted to eat there because Nordy's had Loran the magician. I liked to eat there because Kids Eat FREE on Sunday's.

Look at that happy face, all smiles!
Andon helped with each trick and picked a volunteer to help with each trick.
This one was the broken wand trick-every time Loran handed the wand to Andon, it broke on him.
You can't have magic without a rabbit coming out of the hat!
When we were deciding what to do for his party, I told him is Loran was coming to preform for his birthday, that would be his present from dad and I since is cost more then we spent on the other two's birthday. His reply "I don't care that is the BEST present EVER"!
Happy Birthday my little magician!
BTW-He got a good statch for cash for his birthday and spent it on magic! We went online and ordered some MORE magic stuff! He also bought a new mouse cage. We are saving about 40 dollars..shhh don't tell him.

Kendall made this no coming in sign for her room before she left for Cailyn's to sleep over the night of Andon's party.

Fitness

Well I tried once again to upload pictures but it is sooo slow, I quite.
I will blog real quick about my latest fitness goals: I started crossfit workouts January 8th and today marks my 4 weeks progress. Pinterest had several posts stating that it takes 4 weeks for you to notice, 8 weeks for family and friends and 12 weeks for everyone else. At 4 weeks I notice a difference, I feel better which leads to eating better. We (Deon and I) eat Paleo for breakfast(eggs) and I make Paleo based dinners mostly from Everyday Paleo the cookbook. I quite soda and have no interest in it-but I do love iced tea.  I still give the kids carbs and a little more sugar then I would like, but baby steps..right? Not to mention I have a garage full of girl scout cookies that are so convenient to get a box for a snack-but I have done pretty good! I let the kids choose their own box and when it is gone-its gone. No more unless mom surprises them.

I am excited to start my next 4 weeks with cross fit (it helps that my hubby is my trainer, he writes up my workouts-I guess it is a fair trade since I write up all the meal plans ;-)  My goal is to do 20 workouts this month=5 a week(last month was only 15 workouts)
