October/November

Wrestling: Devin is 3-0 so far this year! I am so proud of him he is giving it his all and it shows in the meets!

I hosted a baby shower for the sister in KS. I made this car seat canopy:

 

 

I FINALLY decorated my car for trunk-r-treat with my bestie Liza! I dressed up as a harvest fairy and helped Liza with her princess spider costume.

 

We had a weekend up in Breckenridge for Hockey.  We left Friday after work-I-25 is a parking lot anymore these days. We spent more time costing than cruising..lol.  The kids swam and we watched 2 hockey games on Saturday.  Thank goodness for nice weather! One of the games was played on an outside rink. They won one and lost one.  

  

 My favorite weekend:  After hockey practice and a game AND wrestling meet, we were HOME!!Jumping in the leaves, Andon was inside making Kendall a cake with her Easy Bake Oven and Deon and Devin we watching football.

 Sunday after grocery shopping and Sunday School, we came home and just played!

 He is too stinkin cute!!! But I still miss my Dixie, my walking partner, my dog!

 Finally...my Birthday! NOT excited about it this year, only 3 more years until I am 40. Whoa!

Hu Hot for dinner. My hubby thought we needed pictures of me...I was not too excited about it tho. Thanks to Nikki who thought I was still in my 20s...She ROCKS!

*Andon just finished Cats on the Run, a program at school where they can run laps at recess and collect feet that go on a necklace. He was my child that said he was NOT going to participate BUT ended up running the most and getting 30 feet=30 miles...He ran over a Marathon!!

August/September

September Mid month, Northern Colorado suffered from massive

AUGUST-My parents came out and it happended to be the weekend of our anniversary(13 years). We went to eat at Jaxs fish house-Yum!! We got a sitter for the evening, it is a treat for my kids since we rarely go out without them.

 

Andon's Jr Eagles hockey league had a 5K so we went as a family. Deon and I ran the race while the kids hung out at the park. I ran the entire 5K(yea!). I am not a fast runner, Deon on the other hand...he's a different story.LOL

 

SEPTEMBER:

After the kids went to KS, the following weekend my in-laws came out. We went to Cheyanne and looked around at the Botinic Gardens and had lunch there.

 

School started, Dance started, Flag football started  Hockey started, Cub scouts started(last year as a leader), girl scouts started(I am the Brownie leader since Jessica moved), sunday school started.  After Flag football, Devin started wrestling.

 

Flooding.  Let's just say two weeks prior to the Floods, the kids school was closed for a HEAT day.

September 16, school was closed AGAIN for Flood Danger.  Deon went into work but got sent home around 8:30 because bridges in Fort Collins were week and breaking due to the rain.

So what do my kids do with the rain day off??

They made Lego boats.

 

 Tino found a new bed while K was in school.

 Last picture of my Dixie dog, she had a bad day in which she could not walk up the stairs plus a lump on her belly, I took her into the vet and she had breast cancer-quit eating and drinking all together for a week(nothing-no salmon,  ribs, canned dog food, rice). Worst day EVER for me, I cried, I even secetly prayed she would pass away so that I would not have to decide her death.

 BROTHER LOVE! Devin moved in the basement 2 years ago, but Dixie was his protector. She slept with him. Once Dixie was too sick to go downstairs, Andon told Devin he could move in with him.

They made a tent with blankets, clamps and their bed sides and played Lego games by the light of the lantern.

 Kendall started dance class, we wanted to do gymnastics, but dance is offered in town and costs less! Plus it is hard to have 3 kids doing activities all on Saturdays with only 2 parents..lol

1st performance was Thriller on Halloween eve.

I was feeling a little bit sad Halloween eve: 1st off ~I am not liking the idea of turning 40 in 3 years-YIKES! So to add to that, Andon went out trick-or-treating with a friend and his mom/sisters & friends, than Devin went with a friend and his family...it was just Kendall and I going around the neighborhood while Deon handed out candy.  We kinda had a "date" when we went to Kendall's dance!

We walk down to the bus stop in the mornings, I walk with Kendall and the boys go together.

 The kids missed out on their summer trip to KS so my dad came to get them for Labor day.  The kids actually ended up with a "heat" day off Friday as well.  Devin REALLY wanted to go back because my dad told him they could go golfing together..so that happened to be Devin's Burthday weekend and him and my dad went golfing while the other two played at Sharons.

Deon and I had lots of date time!We went to Tour De Fat a BIG bike parade/party in Fort Collins. We rode in the parade, ate lunch, beers and watched preformances on the stage. Later we went to a Movie and Sunday we met my dad and got our kids back!

July part 2

Cousins came out for a visit:

The rest of July was our normal days: playing at home, nothing too exciting.  Andon did attend Hockey Goalie camp for a week mid July.

Birthday Girl

Kendall had a Camping Birthday Party

 The favors were: Pop Rocks, flashlights, gummie bears, Kazoos, and 'smores'(baggie of

Golden Graham cereal, marshmellows and chocolate chips.

 Campfire Cake :resess pieces for the coals, Twix for the wood/logs and Fruit Roll Ups shaped for the flame-Kendall made the flame herself!

 We set up the tent and the girls were even able to watch movies through the back window of the tent!

 Silly Girls! Took them swiming while the boys went with my parents to see Despicable Me 2.

 We grilled hot dogs(brots for the adults), chips, pasta salad, and I don't remember the other choices..LOL!  My parents and the boys returned for dinner and gifts then left with them to stay at the hotel for the night.

How does a girl get 3 of the EXACT same Monster High Dolls??

I told 3 out of the 4 moms that Kendall wanted Monster High (UGLY)dolls and she ended up with 3 of the SAME doll!!!

 I can not believe she is 7 !!!
