Elvis the Elf part 2

Elvis, Jack and Firefighter dude made gingerbread house
They camped out in Kendra's(American girl) tent
 Using her bed mattress
Keeping watch from the snow flake up above
The kids had a hard time finding her up there!
 Got into the cereal box
Elves got stuck on top of the patio blinds for DAYS!! She tipped over and her head got stuck
in the slider part of the blinds.
Once she got unstuck{Andon pocked her with a stick},
she made reindeer food for the kids to sprinkle on the yard Christmas eve
 Kendall made her a card
Elvis left a note on her last night reminding the kids that Christmas is NOT ALL about
the elf and Santa...it's about Jesus!
They were allowed to play the the Elves all day on Christmas and put them back on the table at bed time.  She played Monster High, Clarice the reindeer, & rode in Kendall's Keen shoes.

Past weekend busies

Friday evening we went to dinner and Jax's for work pants for Deon.
Saturday I took Andon to hockey practice then I headed to Subway because I left my phone there Friday night.  After hockey we headed to NoCo to pick up gingerbread houses{it was a fundraiser for hockey & I loved it}.
Decorating the houses:
Kendall's
 Devin's
 Andon's
After decoarting, Kendall and I headed to our traditional Nutcracker with a Twist ballet...then AFTER the ballet...we went to line up for the Parade of Lights in our little town.  Kendall rode on the Just For Kix dance float, then we headed to the annual Chili dinner, finally HOME!
Staying warm in the parade

Sunday, we headed out of the house about 8:30.  Deon and Devin went to the Fort Collins Wresting tournment.  While I took Kendall to Sunday school,  Andon and I got groceries. Rushed home to put away everything{after picking Kendall up} and headed down to Denver for Andon's  Hockey game.  Andon's lost 3-4{there 2nd lose of the season} Devin placed 2nd in his weight division for wrestling...he is busy watching the Broncos game and would not pose with his trophy-this is as good as I could get ;)

Elvis the elf

Elvis came back this year! A little late..there was to much whiny~ness here, she waited until it settled down a bit.
She {and Jack} arrived by a sleigh pulled by the Arctic seal

Kendall set up the table with mini Apples to Apples game...Looks like Elvis won!
 Found some I-pods{erasers}
 Hiding in some plants
Sledding down the gifts on a Whoopee Cochin
Missed a day of pictures: She was drinking syrup hanging upside down.
Riding bikes on top of the kitchen counter.

That is our 1st week of Elvis' and Jacks visit.

Puttin' up the tree

Thanksgiving in KS:
We we with the Werth family Thursday and spent our time in Victoria with Shirley's side of the family. It was a great time seeing everyone, the kids were able to play and spread out while the adults played games and visited.

Friday was at my parents house with my 2 sisters, my mom and I did a little black Friday shopping, cooking and Apples to Apples.
Saturday we headed home so Sunday we could head to Beavers Meadows to cut down a Christmas tree.  The Kids ice skated after lunch at the lodge.  (my phone has more pictures of the tree cutting down-leave it to me to either be "out of memory" or a dead battery for the camera)!
Got one picture of the forest and saw...plotting out a tree!

Wipe out!
 The boys
 It was super windy!
I bought batteries from the ice skate rental, so I got pictures!!
 Showing off his moves
 Warming up his shoe.
How cute! She asked Deon to help her skate :)
 Leaving !
 * On a side note...Kendall was ...well Kendall and she lost her privilege to ice skate because she was whiny and rude.  As you see, she did get to skate, but she had to pay for it herself.
Decorating:

* We made in home in time to put up the tree, decorate for Christmas and watch the Broncos beat the Chief's... again!!

October/November

Wrestling: Devin is 3-0 so far this year! I am so proud of him he is giving it his all and it shows in the meets!

I hosted a baby shower for the sister in KS. I made this car seat canopy:

I FINALLY decorated my car for trunk-r-treat with my bestie Liza! I dressed up as a harvest fairy and helped Liza with her princess spider costume.

We had a weekend up in Breckenridge for Hockey.  We left Friday after work-I-25 is a parking lot anymore these days. We spent more time costing than cruising..lol.  The kids swam and we watched 2 hockey games on Saturday.  Thank goodness for nice weather! One of the games was played on an outside rink. They won one and lost one.

My favorite weekend:  After hockey practice and a game AND wrestling meet, we were HOME!!Jumping in the leaves, Andon was inside making Kendall a cake with her Easy Bake Oven and Deon and Devin we watching football.

After the cake baking, he joined us outside!
 2013 Pumpkins...{Jen's, Kendall's, Andon's & Devin's}
Sunday after grocery shopping and Sunday School, we came home and just played!
I played volleyball with this girl
Deon took turns with the boys:
Football passes with one,
 Goalie practice with the other!
He is too stinkin cute!!! But I still miss my Dixie, my walking partner, my dog!
Finally...my Birthday! NOT excited about it this year, only 3 more years until I am 40. Whoa!
Hu Hot for dinner. My hubby thought we needed pictures of me...I was not too excited about it tho. Thanks to Nikki who thought I was still in my 20s...She ROCKS!
Photo Bombed!
So Grown up..lighting the candles for me!

*Andon just finished Cats on the Run, a program at school where they can run laps at recess and collect feet that go on a necklace. He was my child that said he was NOT going to participate BUT ended up running the most and getting 30 feet=30 miles...He ran over a Marathon!!
