Easter 2011

Easter ending-Praise the Lord for all the good things he has done!
Easter day:kids scoped out their baskets ate a quick breakfast and headed to church-we were out the door by 8:05. {Impressive, I even showered that morning}

Andon and I went grocery shopping Saturday-I had to draw names because both boys wanted to go with me-Andon was the lucky one this weekend.

Easter bunny Surprises:

Kendall: Butterfly dress, Hannah Montana cd, sandals, sweetie bell(pony) and princess poster

Andon: Mario Galaxy 2 poster, uno, roller blades, squirmles, shorts, and flip flops

Devin: nerf basketball hoop, KU basketball, shorts, flip flops, squirmles

Saturday, the boys went to hockey skate lessons and Kendall and I went to the mall. While there, we saw Andon's Art work, played at the play place and Kendall get her ears pierced-spear of the moment decision.

All Star Andon/Flying Pig 5K

Today I walked the Flying Pig 5k. I did this run last year as well. This by far is my favorite 5K. It benefits Foothills Gateway which provides services to families with developmental delays. i have two friends who use this service, one of them put together a team this year. Achin for Bacon-team Deanna. I have this HORRIBLE chest cold, therefore I have not ran for the past week-it started last Saturday and has drained all the energy from me. I wanted to be there today to take part in this WONDERFUL event...So I walked it.

Friday night sleep-over-This is our last sleep over at the Werth house with Cannon and Cailyn. Our friends are moving to Iowa in May.

Friday Andon and Deon took off that morning for the mountains at Snowy Range, WY.

Andon took a 2 hour ski lesson, a lunch break and skied with dad all day Friday

Saturday Andon also had his first hockey ice skating lesson. He said he liked it and only fell once. Today he tried his luck at Roller Blading-think the Easter Bunny figured out what to get him for Easter ;)

Devin started horse lessons again-that is his happy place!

Then on Thursday Kendall went to the Butterfly Pavilion with Preschool. I sadly did not get to go. She was going to wear her lady bug outfit with wings and all so the butterflies would land on her. Luckily I convinced her to wear bright colors with a flower hair bow. This attracted the butterflies! One landed on her hair bow. Thanks-Amanda for taking and posting FB pictures of the kiddos and Kendall.

Last Tuesday I went to the Butterfly Pavilion with Devin's Second grade class. It was a fun little trip. It has changed quite a bit since I was there last. Janesa and I took the kids a couple of Halloweens' ago for Bug-A-Boo. {Blogged about a couple years ago in Oct.}

My Poor, LOVED dog Dixie. She is so gentle and puts up with alot from Kendall. She get lead around the house on a leash when the poor dog really just wants to go on a real walk outside. She has pretend parties and her food dish gets moved around frequently. She does get lots of hugs like this one...

Dixie is such a big part of our family, she is loved in many different ways!

Pinewood Derby 2011

March 26th-afterwords the boys went to Evan's house and Kendall went with dad to get mulch. Later went to Hibachis for dinner with Evan's family(family friends). My children on victory circle-good job guys. You all worked very hard on your cars, they turned out AWESOME!

Princess Power got a certificate-She didn't place, better luck next year princess.

Andon got 2nd in show for the tiger den.

The best in show voted by the entire pack: Evan 1st-Devin 2nd- Lane 3rd (just so happened that they were all wolves-so proud of my Den. I have such wonderful kids and even better parents)
