Saturday afternoon workout session! What better way to workout...? Involve your kids!! Not to mention a Super Strong dad makes working out more fun.
Kids still love the sand/dirt box after 6 years of play...it never gets old.
Our Oooo La La Fancy Nancy fort we built together...it even has a chair, umbrella, friends and bows just like the book Explorer Extraordinaire(one week later and it is still standing *thumbs up to girl power fort building*)Monday night relaxing:
Ahhh out of order pics!!!
Tuesday night I drove Andon to Denver *after work-5:45* for an Avs Hockey game. We won tickets thru the Fort Collins Rec center where Andon played hockey.
Wednesday- Devin had his first soccer practice
Thursday Kendall had Girl Scouts and I had a hair appt. -got canceled so I went to a consignment sale waited in line and decided there was nothing in my stack I couldn't live without so I left and got some items at Wal-mart.
Friday leads me to this picture...my princess at Disney on Ice 100 years!
Enjoying a $12 snow cone and collector cup...plus a bag of $12 cotton candy with a crown...but a night out with my girl at the show was worth it(priceless).
Belle...her favorite!
{below} Cleaning blood from the ice while O' Riley(an aggressive player) got high sticked right in the nose-nothing a Kotex couldn't fix and he was back on the ice. O'Riley just happens to be Andon's favortie player *gasp.
The Tuesday night hockey game...Rocked! We were a few minutes late because I missed my exit and had to turn around somewhere in downtown Denver. While I was driving around and trying to fit into small parking spaces, I ended up parking in the back, we missed the first 2 goals-scored by both teams (geez we were only 34 minutes late). Notice our AWESOME seats-row 5!! The game remained tied for the rest of the periods (3) going into overtime-the Avs scored a goal with 1 minute left in overtime
It was so worth going on a school/work night, Andon said it was his best night ever, his first professional hockey game! I hope someday he will be out there playing with the pros(his career dream/goal).
Saturday the boys raced their derby cars for scouts-(post pics of the cars later) then right after the derby, Kendall and I headed to Jordan's nursery for a girl scout field trip.
This nursery is 1 of the 2 nurserys in Colorado that grows fresh cut flowers for flower shops-the rest of the flowers are imported from California or other countries. Everyday they send flowers out and plant new ones.
The kids got to plant their own pot with seeds. I placed Kendall's and mine in a "green house" made from a recycled spinach container!!
Sunday I had a Tastefully Simple party & got to hang out with some FUN girlfriends!!
This week will be a little bit less crazy until the....Weekend!!
