These girls were busy out in the heat playing mini golf with Jana after pizza & cookie they headed back outside to do bumber boats. Kendall drove her own boat and got stuck in the middle doing circles...Jana had to go out and rescue her!

 Devin choose a Broncos giant cookie instead of traditional cake.

They could not finish fast enough as they were heading to laser tag as soon as the cookie and gifts were done!  After Laser Tag they played more arcade games, did bumper cars and cashed in thicket...THE WORST PART EVER!!!!! They take FOREVER to decide on a little piece of junk.

School days

Devin and Kendall helped me cook dinner Tuesday, Kendall wore her apron that my aunt made her and she thought it was chalkboard worthy! That is a picture of her with the apron on and me cooking with her. She also fixed the sunshine for me :) 

I painted the top inside panel of the pantry door to leave little notes to the kids.

Since the kids are in school, I have a little extra time...my Kitchen Aid went into over drive!

 I made these oatmeal cookies, protein cookies, and zucchini muffins while the kids were in school... going on day 3 today

The after school kids devoured them in no time! I did freeze some :)

All 3 were excited for school this morning! Monday was the ice cream social and drop off supplies, so we did that, packed our snack and water bottles, then headed to bed.

Andon went to one of his friends b-day parties this summer in which they tie-dyed shirts. The plan was to wear the shirt on the 1st day.  I need to ask him if the others remembered ;)

 Waiting at the bus stop...I walked with Kendall so I could take pictures. The boys said I was embarrassing..hehe, that's what I do! I got a good pic, but I need to figure out photoshop so I can hid the bus #

After school I was waiting out front to hear all about their day!

Kendall said good and she told me more about her day. They are sound asleep ready for a new day!

While the kids were gone, Deon and I went on a bike ride and got ice cream, went to dinner another night, worked on home projects (I painted he added some wires and changed up some of the outlets), and watched the Olympics!
Saturday morning we went to Chocolate Rose for brunch after a workout and packed our bags for a get-a-way to Burlington, CO. Why there you may ask? Well, Sunday we were meeting Shirley to get the kids and this way we had less drive time in one day. Sunday was our 12 year Anniversay so we wanted to have something special even if it was in Burlington.  I had an amazing time on our little get-a-way!

We meet my kids and grandma n grandpa at the VFW, had brunch then rode the Carousal. If you are are passing by Burlington-you should ride the 24 cent Carousel!

Tuesday Deon worked at the fair with his work, so we stopped by and had dinner with him, rode a few rides and played a few games!

Since my last blog...

Kids had their last baseball & tee-ball games

 All the kids had their last game on the same night - same time. I got pictures of the boys after the game. Coach grilled hot dogs and the team brought sides.

Friday after the last game(Tuesday) I drove the kids to KS. Sharon had a House warming party on Friday night, Saturday we went to G-ma Shirley's and headed out to the horses.

 Grandpa built a club house that according to Julia, will sleep all 10 grandkids :)

 Later that afternoon we met up with my aunt, Emily, and Nolan in Victoria(they had a reunion). The cousins met back at Sharon's house later-where we had some good laughs, a late night Taco Shop run and good memories!

Sunday we had brunch at my mom's house and went to the museum with 8 kids.

Sunday evening Kendall and I went to Leigh's house-we spent over an hour trying to fix Andon's Ipod then headed to Chinese with Georgia, Kendall and cousin Emily met us there.

Taco Shop Monday with Emily and my parents before I headed back to CO.

In CO I got the painting Bug & painted the bathroom

 I didn't take before pics, but it was the original white-ish paint from when the house was built and I could not wash the walls without paint rubbing off.

Then I painted the family/playroom yellow (2 walls & 2walls were painted grey)

This room is the family room/playroom/preschool room; it is in transition right now. I am trying to organize it to be all three room in one
