Flash back Before kindergarten

Ekk, I miss this 2 year old:

Pre-K:Ms Leigh Ann and Nicole-I worked at Mom's Day Out
mid year I quite to do daycare and Ms Camhi was her teacher the rest of the year

She rode the bus home, ate cold lunch, and had a wonderful 1st day.

I had a quite day working at home!

1st grade: Mrs. Young

2nd grade:Mrs Montgomery
He loves school so far, half of his class is taught in spanish the other half
English. He loves that he will be learning Spanish this year.

3rd grade: Mrs. Hayes

So far Devin loves 3rd grade, Dad drove the boys to school on their 1st day
They took the bus home

Do you love Angry Birds...

As much as I do??

Andon loves the game too! We take turns helping each other pass levels.

He cashed in his quarter collection and bought 3 Angry Birds, giving him 4 total.

He even made a sling shot with dads help and moms 'elastic' idea!

Even MORE...
Andon wrote a letter to the Angry Birds company:

8/11/11

Dear Angry Birds company,

I love playing your game on my mom's phone. However I'm only 7 and I don't have my own phone could you make one for DS game

The company is located in China, so we are working on a letter to send to the Nintendo DS company to see of they could make a game for the DS.

We also attended the scouts camp fire/flag ceremoy/smores making this past weekend.

Home made ice cream in a bag

Fill a gallon size freezer bag half full of ice, add in 6 tbls rock salt

"MOM, don't take a picture"

Combine the next 3 ingredients in a pint or quart size bag
seal shut and place inside the large bag.

1 TBLS sugar
1/2 C. Milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
add these to the smaller bag

**make sure both bags are sealed shut**

Shake...

Shake....

Shake some more...

5 minutes at least

Enjoy-straight from the bag!!

Andon shook the longest and his turned out the best.
Devin and Kendall's were a little too runny
but they loved it!!

Weekend review

Devin's last riding lesson with Chantelle. She leaves for NM to start college. We will miss her.

She needed someone "real" to sleep with, her fish that she won at the fair was the second option since Dixie sleeps with Devin

The family went to the BMX trail again and cleaned up trash. I can't believe that so many people liter. We had two pretty full trash bags

And....my sink...

Devin needs to help fix something for scouts, so this is mainly his project to help.
Everyone else wanted to help also.

Sink when we bought the house, it started leaking underneath from the faucet. I sold several items on Crieg's list and had enough money for a faucet.

The middle of the project: this is where the kids and I got booted out of the house...Deon finished the sink and we went swimming/playing at Liza's house. Not much swimming as the clouds rolled in and it was cooler out. Kids had fun playing at her house.
