HAPPY HALLOWEEK

Cub scouts had a pack meeting Oct. 30 at Ace Hardware, the scouts got awards, hot dogs, and crafts. Ace Hardware set up a straw bale maze, a no so haunted house, and served coco and cider.
Devin is hiding in the maze-love the sky in the background.
Before heading to the scout meeting, we had a full morning of events.
Kendall is cleaning out her pumpkin, she did not mind the pumpkin guts! She collected all the guts from her 3 pumpkins and is planning to plant them ALL in the back yard.

The lucky pumpkins chosen by Kendall

Helpful, handsome, Halloween Hero! I enjoyed spending time at the pumpkin patch with him! Deon took Devin after the gardens to get a Jumba Juice. While we stopped to get pumpkins. Sadly I waited until the day before, I usually go the 1st weekend of October-where has the time gone?

Searching through the remains. The mini pumpkins were their favorite.

We(I) Missed having Devin with us this year, I guess I have to start getting used to it-he is 8 and did not mind missing the tradition-of 8 years :( He just wanted to be sure I got him a pumpkin!

Watching a magic trick Saturday at the Gardens. Andon is really interested in magic! He learned a jumping rubber band trick. This a a picture of the disappearing egg, we never did find out how to do it.

The favorite spot at the gardens, the giant watering can with dams, rivers, and ponds. BTW those blue things are NOT the giant watering can LOL!

Part of the watering can, he pumped it long enough, the water came out and filled the pond.

Painting pumpkins at the gardens. We went Saturday 10/30/10. Deon went to help friends move then met us here. The kids saw a school buddy Luke leaving as we were coming, talked to a talking pumpkin, read stories with black labs, pumpkin bowling, and played in the sand box.
That pretty much took up our entire Saturday-Gardens, pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins and scout meeting(FUN)!

Friday I worked at the gym, then headed to school parties. i was in charge if planning the 1st grade party. It went good, the teacher asked if I would plan Christmas and Valentines!! I was honored-I love doing that stuff! After School was the trick-or-treat down town Wellington, then ended the day with our weekly Friday pizza and movies-How to train your dragon-love that movie-a Christmas gift for sure!

Recess at Pre-K

Kendall and her friend Faith eating snack at school. She is a witch for this event, Cinderella for most others and Tom cat of another outing.

October 26th-the start of Halloweek-
Treatsilvanya-trick-or-treating at the Farm. The Hershey bar I made but he only wore it ONCE. Stinker! He was a cow boy and horse for the other things.

My three goblins at the farm.

Every year we have gone with our GOOD friends the White's(hence the two boys-cow and dragon). Stopped in the barn for a cookie and a photo.

This is the set up-business' in the area paint the wooden doors, then hand out candy as children knock. The weather was prefect this year-last year we rushed to get done, the hay ride seemed to take FOREVER because it was so cold.

Here is a better picture of the set-up the farm is covered with venders like this promoting their business-and what better way? give candy to the kids!

Waiting in line-here is Kendall(Cinderella) and William (the dragon that protects the princess). William is her boyfriend, he has been for several months. I joke with her about Erick or Ben, she ALWAYS tells me "they are not my boyfriend, remember William is"

Lego Head! While choosing costumes, I came across a brick Lego-a red box with red Solo cups cut into the box. NO! Andon wanted to be a Lego guy, so I searched the web and saw an idea similar to this. Deon and I team worked a couple evenings and...TADA! We really can work together to make great things!
